CPI Experiences the Lowest Increase in the Last Ten Months

CPI of commodities and services in the province in Oct. is 0.27 per cent higher than that in Sept. This is the lowest rise within 10 months. In general, the slight increases occurring in most groups range from 0.03 to 0.97 per cent, remarkably it is down in two groups: transportation, housing, electricity, water, fuel and construction material due to decreasing petroleum prices; and post and telecommunications.

CPI sees the lowest increase in the last ten months.
Average CPI in Oct. 2011 rises by 16.68 per cent over Oct. 2010. Ten out of 11 CPI groups grow; the top increasing groups include restaurant and eating-drinking services; transportation services; and housing, electricity, water, fuel and construction material. Decline in post and telecommunications is due to network carriers offering discount and promotions.
