Market management in February: many violation cases detected

According to the Market Management Sub-Department, the total number of inspected cases was 247, the number of violation cases totaled 230, accounting for 93.12% as compared to that of inspection cases, and the total number of handled cases was 233 (including 3 cases in the previous month). There were 229 cases fined, 4 cases warned, and 6 cases with goods confiscation. The total amount of money collected from administrative violations was VND285,860,000.

 The acts of violation of commercial law include transporting and trading prohibited goods (3 cases), trading illicit exported goods (4 cases), trading counterfeit goods (12 cases), trading low-quality goods (1 case), violating provisions on labeling of goods (111 cases), violating provisions on food safety and hygiene, and violating provisions on business registration (4 cases), violating provisions on prices of goods (40 cases), violating provisions on leasing contracts (11 cases), and other violation cases (37).

According to the interdisciplinary inspection group in the southern province of Dong Nai, there were 18 inspection cases and 17 violation cases, of which 9 administrative violation cases, 7 violation cases warned, and one violation case transferred to the police, and the total fine of VND19.75 billion.
