As reported from Service Development Steering Committee, up to now, 135 ATMs were installed and over 90 sites accept payment cards. In the first half this year, implementing direction no. 20/2007/CT-TTg issued on August 24, 2008 by Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on payment via bank accounts for people get paid by state budget, banks in the province have issued over 16,000 ATM cards, raising the total of issued ATM cards up to 400,000 ones.

E-payment service has developed strongly. For the time being, 29 credit organizations take part in electronic compensation system in the province and payment revenue from ATM makes up 72% revenue of all payment means. The total number of foreign exchange desks by June 30, 2008 in the province is 131, 41 of which are direct and 90 of which are agents, which has created favorable conditions for growth rate of service. Revenue from foreign exchange service in the first five month this year is over US$124,500, and in the first half this ear estimated at US$140,000 .
