Import-export turnover in 2009 fulfills 84.3% of the year plan

Due to effects of global economic recession, many export markets have been narrowed, cut orders and export price has decreased, resulting to export turnover in 2009 being estimated at US$6,400 million, fulfilling 88.2% of the year plan.

 

 
In that amount, export turnover of central state enterprises reached US$137.23 million, 19.7% down; that of  local enterprises was estimated at US$355.4 million, 9% down. That of foreign invested ones was estimated at US$5,907.6 million, up 1.3% over 2008. Export volume of goods such as coffee, cashew nut, wood crafts and honey have went down compared with the same period.  

Import turnover in the province on December 2009 is estimated at US$635.25 million, up 3% over the last month and that throughought 2009 is estimated at US$6,656 million, 15.75 down compared with 2008, fulfilling 80.9% of the year plan.
