Co.op Mart is involved in Earth Hour

Tuesday - 19/07/2011 23:08
To support “Earth Hour” and contribute to encouraging people to say no to nylon bags to protect our environment, Co.op Mart will not give nylon bags to their customers on March 27.

Let’s say no to nylon bags to protect our environment.

From March 22 to March 27, 2009, this supermarket will be holding a week in which they will provide paper bags to their customers and present 100,000 green food vouchers to their customers when using these bags for shopping in here. 100,000 V-Fresh Smoothie boxes to thank customers for their uses of Green Environment Bags and the program “Using green environment bags to accumulate enough receipts for gifts” applied from March 28 to June 30, 2010.

On March 27, besides giving 50% discount on big green environment bags, the supermarket will turn off electric devices and cut off wasteful electricity consumption from 8 a.m to 9:30 p.m.
