Promote emulation movements in production and business

​In recent years, many enterprises, units and banks have focused on promoting many patriotic emulation movements, considering this as a driving force to overcome difficulties and rise up in many fields, especially production and business activities.

The units under the 16 emulation block signed a contract of emulation in 2023

Many emulation blocks of banks, enterprises and units have just held a conference on summarizing the implementation of the emulation contract in 2022 and launch, sign the emulation contract in 2023.

The emulation block No. 16 consists of 8 units: Provincial Post Office, Dong Nai VNPT, Dong Nai Petroleum Company, Dong Nai Electricity One Member Company Limited, Dong Nai Garment Corporation Joint Stock Company (Donagamex), Southern Agricultural Machinery and Engine One Member Limited Company, Dong Nai Rubber Corporation One Member Company Limited, Bien Hoa Vinacafé Joint Stock Company.

Mr. Nguyen Nhu Thuan, Director of the Provincial Post Office - Head of the emulation block No. 16 in 2022 said that the block had nearly 10.7 thousand employees then. In 2022, the total revenue of the implementation of the block reached nearly 39 trillion dong, 6% higher than the plan of the year with the profit more than 1 trillion dong, paid local budget 821 billion dong.

Deputy Director of Dong Nai Petroleum Company Trinh Thanh Do shared that the past 2022 was a year of differences in petroleum business activities, the petroleum market was complicated and the prices fluctuated rapidly with margins. The retail output at the store chain of the company increased by 300% compared to normal at times, creating great pressure on the supply assurance for the company. Facing those difficulties, the company has made efforts to overcome and organize ten emulation movements and there was a preliminary review and evaluation of the results of implementing emulation movements at the end of each phase.

Through emulation movements, the efforts and determination of officers and employees have helped the company to achieve results such as: total petroleum production and sales in 2022 increased by 30% compared to the plan, the retail exceeded 54% of the plan in particular, paid the state budget exceeded 21% of the plan set out in 2022...

Similarly, the emulation blocks in the banking industry also met and exceeded many targets. At emulation block 7 (including big banks in Dong Nai: Vietcombank - Dong Nai branch, Agribank - Dong Nai branch, VietinBank - Dong Nai branch, VietinBank - Bien Hoa industrial park branch and BIDV - Dong Nai branch), total capital mobilization of banks in the block reached more than 79.3 trillion dong, total outstanding loans reached nearly 78.2 trillion dong. Outstanding loans of banks in the block reached and exceeded the plan of 2022.

In the past year, emulation movements in the block have closely followed the goals and tasks of each unit and of the locality, focusing on national holidays, historical days and regular and unexpected political tasks to launch the movements, emulation targets were set specifically, suitable to the characteristics of each unit such as the emulation movement on successfully carry out the tasks of socio-economic, national defense and security development in 2022; the movement on joining hands to build a new countryside in the whole province , the movement of enterprises in Dong Nai to integrate and develop...

According to Emulation block 8, the total mobilized capital of the block in 2022 reached about VND 81.5 trillion, increased 9% compared to 2021; total credit balance reached about VND 84.2 trillion, increased 19% compared to 2021, total profit reached more than VND 3 trillion, increased 33% compared to the previous year.

In addition to production and business activities, the emulation blocks also showed their responsibility to the society by actively participating in social security, giving gratitude activities, etc.

For example, the total amount for implementation of social security programs in 2022 of emulation block 8 was 6.7 billion VND.
