In 2022, in difficult conditions, all 6/6 targets assigned by the Government to the Agriculture sector have met and exceeded the plan. Along with that, domestic trade promotion activities were promoted, coordinated to organize many activities to connect supply and demand, link the value chain of agricultural products. Therefore, the export turnover of agro-forestry-fishery products reached a record high of over USD 53.2 billion, up 9.3% compared to 2021; far exceed the targets assigned by the Government; accounting for more than 75% of the total trade surplus value of the whole economy.
Looking back at the achieved results, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Minh Hoan said that with great determination and great efforts, the Agriculture Sector has implemented synchronously, flexibly, creatively solutions and "innovation". thinking" to overcome difficulties and challenges from "unusual situations" of production and business practices in order to achieve development goals.
