Dong Nai's Trade Promotion Program for 2025

(News Portal – Dong Nai) - The Provincial People's Committee has recently issued the trade promotion program for 2025 in Dong Nai Province.

Rambutan is one of the province's key agricultural products supported under the trade promotion program. 

The program will support a total of 20 product categories, including: Building materials such as ceramics, porcelain, and tiles group: (artistic ceramics, household and industrial porcelain, tiles); cashew nuts and other seeds (coffee, pepper, etc.); animal feed; livestock products (pork, beef, chicken, etc.); processed foods (MSG, confectionery, fruits, canned beverages, instant coffee, milk, mushrooms, durian, canned chili, etc.); textile yarns of various types; textile and fiber products; ready-made garments and accessories production; footwear and accessory production.

Additional supported products include: Pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals (for humans and animals/plants); plastics and plastic products; agricultural machinery and equipment; automobiles, motorcycles, and parts manufacturing; electrical wires and cables of all types; industrial electrical machinery and equipment (transformers, electric motors, etc.).

Electronic components and devices (electronics, IT, telecommunications); wood products of all types; rubber and rubber-based products; OCOP products (One Commune One Product), key industrial products of the province; handicrafts; key agricultural products of the province such as coffee, cashew nuts, pepper, pomelo, mango, dragon fruit, rambutan, durian.

Eligible beneficiaries for financial support include businesses, cooperatives, production-trade facilities, farmers, and farms participating in the program with a need to develop products aligned with the program's objectives and target markets.

As for target markets: within Dong Nai Province: rural areas, focusing on key communes; areas concentrated with industrial workers, including industrial parks and rubber plantations; key urban areas such as Bien Hoa City and Long Khanh City. In addition, key domestic markets: Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Da Nang, Can Tho, Hue, Central Key Economic Region, Southern Key Economic Region. International markets include: United States, Russia, Japan, South Korea, China, Cambodia, Indonesia, Germany, India, Australia, Laos, South Africa.

The program includes: trade fairs and exhibitions within the province; exhibitions outside the province and international trade exchanges; domestic trade connection activities, conferences, and workshops; trade promotion activities supporting rural agricultural and provincial key products; trade promotion campaigns under the "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" initiative. 

Efforts will also focus on enhancing information technology and digital transformation in trade promotion activities during the 2021-2030 period in Dong Nai. Other initiatives include: updating information on the Trade Promotion Center's website; hosting the 2025 Southeastern Industrial-Trade Fair in Dong Nai; supporting businesses participating in the "9th Monthly B2B Trade Exchange Program" in Ho Chi Minh City in 2025; organizing the Traditional Bien Hoa Ceramics Festival in Dong Nai in 2025; preparing detailed budget estimates for the 2025 trade promotion program.

Support levels and participation procedures are outlined in Articles 3 through 12 of Resolution No. 12/2021/NQ-HDND dated July 30, 2021, by the Dong Nai Provincial People's Council, which regulates funding and support levels for trade promotion programs in Dong Nai. Funding comes from the trade promotion budget and is allocated for activities listed in the approved program. All funding is disbursed and settled according to the regulations of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee and the Ministry of Finance.
