Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman Vo Tan Duc noted that, alongside the Hieu Liem Bridge project, the Vinh Cuu District People's Committee recently began construction on a 1.5-kilometer-long access road leading to the bridge. He urged the leaders of Vinh Cuu District and related units to ensure that the construction of Hieu Liem Bridge and its access roads on both ends adheres to planned progress, maintains high construction quality, ensures traffic and workplace safety, protects the environment, and minimizes disruptions to the production and business activities of local residents and businesses.

The investment project for Hieu Liem Bridge has been approved as a Grade II project, with a total length of over 249 meters and a width of 9 meters. The bridge is expected to be completed and operational within one year. Once finished, the Hieu Liem Bridge will remain in place to serve local residents, improving regional transportation connectivity and contributing to the economic and social development of the area.

According to EVN, the Tri An Hydropower Plant Expansion Project was proposed to meet the increasing electricity demand and utilize surplus water during the annual flood season. The project received investment approval from the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee in 2020.

The project will have a total installed capacity of 200MW, comprising two generating units, each with a capacity of 100MW. Once operational, the expansion will enhance the ability to supply power to meet growing demand in Southern Vietnam. Hieu Liem Bridge is an important component of this project, constructed to facilitate the transportation of materials and equipment during the project's implementation phase.

At the ceremony, EVN and the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee also distributed 30 gifts to households in difficult circumstances, demonstrating their commitment to supporting the local community.
