(News Portal – Dong Nai) - Over 130 trillion VND has been invested in Dong Nai by Vietnamese enterprises in the first 11 months of 2024. This demonstrates that Dong Nai not only appeals to foreign-invested enterprises but also garners significant interest from domestic businesses seeking investment opportunities.

With its advantages in technical infrastructure and transportation connectivity within the province, the southern key economic region, and neighboring areas, Dong Nai is expected to remain a focal point for domestic investment in new projects aiming to seize business development opportunities.

Strong Attraction of Domestic Investment
According to data from the Dong Nai Statistics Office, from the beginning of 2024 to November 21, 2024, the total domestic investment capital registered for investment certification, investment policy approval, and capital adjustment in the province reached approximately 130.72 trillion VND, nearly 10.5 times higher than the same period in 2023. Of this, 21 new projects were attracted, with total registered capital of nearly 123.8 trillion VND, a nearly 20-fold increase compared to the same period last year. Additionally, 20 projects increased their capital with a total additional registered capital of nearly 8.5 trillion VND, up by 38.3%.

Alongside new project investments, Dong Nai's business environment has gradually improved, making it a favorable location for businesses to register their operations. Over the past 11 months, more than 4,100 new businesses were established with registered capital exceeding 52.2 trillion VND, double that of the previous year. Additionally, over 1,000 businesses added more than 41 trillion VND to their charter capital. This brings the total registered capital for new business establishments and capital increases to 93.3 trillion VND. Moreover, businesses have also expanded with nearly 1,700 new branches, business locations, and representative offices within the province.

Dong Nai adheres to the principle of “The government accompanies businesses," viewing the success of businesses as the success of the province. The province is focusing on implementing the Dong Nai Provincial Planning for the 2021-2030 period with a vision to 2050, while developing nationally significant projects within its borders to create new momentum, breakthrough opportunities, and economic-social structural transformation for the locality.

Proactively Meeting and Seizing New Opportunities

In November, New Generation Construction and Development Corporation (Ho Chi Minh City) launched Phase 2 of its Rental Factory Project at the Loc An - Binh Son Industrial Park (Long Thanh District). The project occupies a 9.4-hectare plot and is designed and constructed with modern standards to meet the production space and warehouse rental needs of both domestic and foreign enterprises.

According to a company representative, Phase 2 of the factory complex marks another step forward in New Generation's comprehensive development plan. The investor aims to provide an optimal production environment, modern infrastructure, and conveniences for business operations. The factory complex will be equipped with security systems, fire prevention and suppression systems, and professional technical support services, ensuring safety and efficiency for partner businesses.
