Disbursing Over 2 Billion VND to Support Farmers in Developing Production and Business Projects

​(News Portal – Dong Nai) - The Provincial Farmers' Association recently organized the disbursement of funds from the Farmers' Support Fund, sourced from the provincial budget, in Long Khanh City. This initiative aims to provide financial support to help farmers develop production and business projects. It also contributes to building and expanding collaborative models, household groups, creating jobs, increasing income, improving livelihoods, and strengthening the Farmers' Association. 

On this occasion, the Provincial Farmers' Association disbursed funds from the provincial budget for five projects in the city, with a total disbursement amounting to 2.3 billion VND, benefiting 36 farmer households in the area. The loan term ranges from 24 to 36 months from the disbursement date, with a lending rate of 0.55% per month (0.66% annually). The disbursement of the Farmers' Support Fund must comply with regulations, serve the intended purpose, target the right beneficiaries, be effective, and ensure timely repayment of the principal and interest.

The projects receiving financial support include: renovation and care of durian trees using organic methods in Hang Gon Commune; renovation and care of jackfruit trees using organic methods in Binh Loc Commune; investment in durian tree care using organic methods in Bau Sen Ward; renovation and care of jackfruit trees using organic methods in Bao Quang Commune; care for durian orchards using organic methods in Xuan Tan Ward. ​
