After a long time being affected by the 4th Covid-19 epidemic, there have been signs of improvement recently in the socio-economic situation. Provincial leaders and representatives of Southern Affairs Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade) visited the display area of typical rural industrial products of Dong Nai.

 

Many Vietnamese products have actively "preempted" post-Covid-19 consumption trends to offer Vietnamese "shopping cart" designs and combos to attract customers, as well as improve competitiveness with imported products, etc.

 

According to many supermarkets, trade centers, and Vietnamese goods have gradually adapted to the needs of consumers' changing shopping habits, many domestic enterprises and Vietnamese brands have actively launched many programs on peak occasions to attract customers.

Not only the traditional retail and distribution channels, but also on many technology websites and online trading platforms, many activities to stimulate Vietnamese consumer demand are also focused on implementation.

 

Multiple channels to support promotion

In Dong Nai, in recent years, many programs to support the promotion of Vietnamese products, especially for local products of strengths, have been implemented. According to the leader of the Department of Industry and Trade, in recent years, the launch of the display area of typical rural industrial goods and products of the province or the launch of the Dong Nai e-commerce trading website (ecdn.vn) helps create conditions to promote and introduce the key products, specialties and OCOP products (one commune, one product) of the province, thereby connecting and creating more opportunities for products. The locality has more access to customers, and business partners.

 

Mr. Nguyen The Quang, Deputy Director of the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy (Ministry of Industry and Trade), shared that the development of Dong Nai's e-commerce website has differences and local characteristics. This is a channel that contributes to the development of typical products, strengths and specialties of Dong Nai, and at the same time connects local goods with other localities, towards expanding export opportunities, shortening space and time in commercial activities.

In particular, over the past time, the Department of Industry and Trade has actively connected and supported enterprises and cooperatives in the province to participate in many fairs and exhibitions connecting supply and demand, including many trade fairs and exhibitions on the digital platforms, booths promoting products according to the virtual model.

Mr. Le Bach Long, Director of Nam Long Co., Ltd located in Long Thanh District said, at the conference to connect supply - demand of goods between Ho Chi Minh City and provinces and cities across the country in early December, 2021, besides participating in direct supply - demand connection, the company also participates in promoting and introducing products on the virtual booth of the conference. This is a new activity to help facilitate the promotion of the product promotion channel, develop the company's image and brand in the context of current complicated Covid-19 epidemic situation.
