Focus on propagating Resolutions of the Central Party term XI

​Speaking about the orientation of propagating work for the last 6 months of 2012, Mr. Truong Minh Tuan, Vice President of the Central Propaganda Department suggested: local Propaganda Departments, reporters from Northern provinces and cities, Central-affiliated Party Committees needed to focus on propagating about the results of social – economic performances for the first 6 months of the year, the solutions to restraining inflation and macroeconomic stabilization in order to assure the social security. It was necessary to focus on propagating the State’s solutions to control the economy, assure synchrony and flexibility, maintain proper growth rate, and keep inflation under control; pay more attention to helping businesses deal with their difficulties, motivate production and business together with restructuring the economy, well perform the reform of growth model with the promotion of effectiveness and competitiveness.

One of the key activities of propagation for the last 6 months and in the near future was to keep on propagating the 4th Resolutions of the Central Party term XI; clarify and concentrate on giving direction on eliminating unreasonable methods to create an actual and practical change in real life. The Central gave direction on focusing on 3 matters: preventing and pushing back politically degenerative morals and lifestyles of many of cadres and Party members, foremost the leaders and managers; selecting qualified leaders and managers to meet the requirements of industrialization – modernization – international integration; determine the authorities and responsibilities of the leaders of committees, government, in the relationship with committees’, agencies, units and keep renewing leading methods of the Party. Locals and agencies must follow the Progress to implement the 4th Resolutions of Central Party together with the 03rd Instruction of the Ministry of Politics to affirm the correctness and punctuality of the 4th Resolutions of Central Party and gain people’s trust, which helped bring the Resolution into reality with political effort of the Party: overcoming present limitations and weaknesses of the Party.

About propagating the  results of the 5th  Central Conference, term XI, it was essential to clarify the content of the summary of Constitutional implementation in 1992 assessed by Central and issues that need amending and supplementing; summarize of performance of the 7th Resolution of Central (term IX): "Continue the innovation of policies and laws on land during the period of accelerating industrialization and modernization era"; partially sum up the period of 5 years performing the 3th Resolution of Central (term X) “Enhancing the leadership of the Party in corruption and waste prevention”; consider and make decision on issues of social policies and payment for the period of 2012-2020 and other important issues.

The Conference paid attention to propagating the results of the 3rd Central Conference, term XIII; orienting the propagation of results of health insurance, social insurance;  focused on clarifying the new adjustment of hospital charges and health insurance to meet practical requirements; keeping on propagating about Vietnam’s beaches and islands…

At the Conference, reporters listened to thematic reports of the construction of Son La hydroelectric power plant; economic – social situation for the first 6 months of the year; the current status of Tay Nguyen and the operation of Tay Nguyen Steering Committee for the past 10 years; global situation, foreign services of the Party and State for the first 6 months of 2012; direction and missions for the rest of the year.
