Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai had a meeting with leaders of Dinh Quan district on June 14th and discussed the economic-social development and national defense for the first 5 months in 2012 as well as the orientation and duties for the rest of the year.

According to the report, 7 power line constructions project in 4 communes and the expansion of 300 hectares of corn for winter-spring implemented were breakthroughs implemented by Dinh Quan district for the first few months of the year. However, the district also encountered some difficulties such as: slow implementation process of Water Supply Company at Dinh Quan industrial zone and in La Nga, Phu Ngoc, Ngoc Dinh communes, leading to serious clean water shortage in dry seasons; the lack in compensation budget for land clearance for the implementation of Din Quan industrial zone phase 2; the need of partial budget support for the establishment of rural markets, repairing and upgrading the national road 20 across the area of the district for reduction of traffic accidents…
At the meeting, the Chairman directed that the district should focus on restructuring sectors, assisting in transferring scientific development to farmers to increase productivity and incomes. Meanwhile, Dinh Quan is a remote district, where the citizens are facing a lot of difficulties, therefore, the departments and sectors should provide clear policies to help increase their lives.
