On the afternoon of May 15th, Mr. Đinh Quoc Thai – Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Committee, has chaired the meeting of Steering Committee on Performance Transfer of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Zone (IZ) to be informed about movement and performance transfer situation of the IZ.
After much consideration, the Province prefers the solution given by Corporation for the Development of Bien Hoa Industrial Zone (Sonadezi) which is managing infrastructure of Bien Hoa 1 IZ. The solution calls for establishing class 1 enterprise under joint stock form and dominated by Sonadezi; enterprises desiring transfer will be permitted pursuant to the approved plan and be obliged to pay land use fee as well as contribute to infrastructure building budget at the same time. As for enterprises that do not want to transfer but agree to relocate will be supported as stipulated.

It is known that Bien Hoa 1 IZ was established and started operating nearly 50 years ago. Today there are 104 investment projects and 96 operating enterprises in Bien Hoa 1 IZ.
