Plan to summarize 15 years of implementing Central Resolution 5 (term VIII) about “building and developing Vietnam modern culture and national identity”.

With the purpose of passing the summary and raising the awareness of Party’s Executive Committees, governments and all classes of people about the role and importance of culture, making drastic changes and continuing to implement the Resolution, making culture a real target of and motivation for development as well as spiritual and social platform. The plan also conveys the specific contents: accessing the socioeconomic situation of localities, the context of global factors affecting the implementation of Central Resolution 5, examining the implementation of 10 missions of culture stated in the Resolution, examining the implementation of major solutions in the Resolution, proposing to supplement and complete the Party’s cultural points of views. Besides, the Plan also clearly states time and modalities to implement the summary and assigns specific tasks to Departments, sectors and political unions at district and commune levels to conduct.
