The Dong Nai women Association Launches the constest entiled “Knowledge of Women Movements in the Country’s Industrialization and Modernization Period”

As one of practical activities for celebrating 78th foundation anniversary of Vietnam Women’s Union and the 310th anniversary of formation and development of Bien Hoa-Dong Nai, the steering committee of the provincial Women’s Union launches the contest entitled “knowledge of women’s movements in the country’s industrialization and modernization period in the province”.

The conference is held to sum up partially women’s movements in the first six months.

    The contest is aimed at creating a wide range of political activities for cadres and workers and members of the Union and disseminating Resolution No. 07-NQ/TU on women’s movements in the country’s industrialization and modernization period in Dong Nai province. In addition, it aims to contribute to putting the Resolution into practice and fulfill the provincial political social economic target. By mean of the contest, people’s awareness of women’s movements and gender balance will hopefully be better improved.

    Each of the contestants is required to answer 5 questions raised by the organizing board in form of handwriting or A4-sized papers (the answer for the 5th question is limited within 2,000 words) with full name, office, address and phone number. They can browse websites of the Vietnam Women’s Union and provincial Union at www.hlhpn.org.vn and www.dongnai.gov.vn respectively to get more references.

    The contestants’ papers can be sent to Dong Nai women association, at 11B, Quyet Thanh ward, Bien Hoa, Dong Nai. The deadline to hand in the papers is on Novemeber 25, 2008.

    The result announcement and awarding ceremony plans to be held in December, 2008 on occasion of the 310th anniversary of Bien Hoa-Dong Nai formation and development.
