Ground-breaking ceremony towards the restoration of a historical site, Bien Hoa Party Committee base

The Project is built on a land area of nearly 6.1 ha at Suoi Ca with a cost estimate of nearly VND 3 billion. The construction will be carried out in 2 phases. In phase 1, in addition to new constructions such as the stele house, a park, monument, and ceremony ground …restoration work will be carried out for remainders: working house of the Party Committee, connecting trenches and hiding places. Phase 2: Transformation of the lake and construction of other works for tourism development. The Project investor is Long Thanh district Party Committee; it is designed by P.A Architecture Company (Architecture University in Ho Chi Minh City) and Central Fine-Arts Company southern branch-it is built by construction Company No-13 (Bien Hoa city)

Right from the first days of our resistance war against the USA, Bien Hoa Party Committee selected Binh Son Village as a base to direct the local revolutionary movement during the most difficult and critical period. Here the Bien Hoa Party Congress was held for the first time in October 1961. The congress formed the provincial National Liberation Front in July 1962 and issued important resolution for the provincial Party lead in vile and military forces to many. Victories together with the whole nation contributing to the 1975 Spring Victory the Project is not only for preserving historical and cultural values, commemorating the efforts and leadership of Bien Hoa Party Committee during our resistance war against the USA, it also educates young generations to preserve and perpetuate the revolutionary struggle tradition of Bien Hoa and Dong Nai civil and military forces.

It is known that the Previous Bien Hoa Party Case has two groups of remainders: one in Binh Son Village (Long Thanh District) and the other at Bau 17 both playing different roles during the two resistance wars against the French and the USA Remainder a Bau 17 will be also restored soon. It is foreseen that the two restoration work will be completed on time for the commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the date of South Viet Nam liberation and reunification of the nation (30 . 04 . 1975 - 30.04.2005).
