As a practical action in response to Earth Hour, partly protecting environment, Dong Nai Food Industrial Corp. plans to turn off unnecessary electric appliances from 20:30 to 21:30 on Saturday, March 27.

Earth Hour – Small Actions Make a Big Difference

    Accordingly, the company will encourage its entire staff to support 2010 Earth Hour via specific activities such as dimming unnecessary light, using energy saving equipments and environmentally friendly products, etc. In addition, company leaders propose to switch off lighting system on barriers, trees, and other unnecessary facilities in the office.

    Earth Hour is a global initiative by World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) for climate change, started in Sidney, Australia and then became international movement in 2008. The campaign aims to call individual, business and school to switch unnecessary lighting systems off from 20:30 to 21:30 on the last Saturday evening of March each year.
