Vice Chairman Nguyen Son Hung has a work meeting with Novaland Group

​(News Portal – Dong Nai) - On November 16, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Son Hung chaired a working session with Novaland Group regarding the issue of promoting tourism development at the Aqua City project (Long Hung commune, Bien Hoa City). The participants in the working session were leaders of a number of departments and sectors of the province.

At the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Duong, Deputy General Director of NovaGroup, proposed to the provincial leaders, departments and sectors to consider and approve additional industry planning of 5 new inland waterway wharves in the Aqua City area in order to promote the strengths and exploiting Dong Nai's river tourism economy. Novaland also asked to receive guidance and support for the implementation of investment procedures to build facilities for conferences, entertainment services, cuisine and experiential activities at Aqua City. According to Novaland, the above proposals, if implemented, will contribute to promoting local tourism development, attracting tourists, developing various types of night economy, and MICE tourism (tourism activities combined with festivals, seminars, conferences, award ceremonies), health care, sports... especially river tourism development.

​At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Son Hung highly appreciated Novaland's ideas and proposals for tourism development in Dong Nai province. The Vice Chairman assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to take note of the opinions of businesses to coordinate and fully grasp the proposed contents to pass the Steering Committee for Tourism Development of the province in the upcoming meeting. Leaders of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the corporation to contact departments to promptly adjust planning because the deadline for adjusting planning in the province is about to expire. The corporation, as well as departments and sectors, should pay attention to accelerating implementation steps according to the provisions of law, quickly come up with solutions that exploit the strengths of Dong Nai River tourism, promoting local tourism development in the coming time. ​​
