With the goal of becoming a class 2 urban by 2025, Long Khanh is striving to carry out many tasks from investing in infrastructure and economics to taking care of the material and spiritual lives of people.
Upgrade urban transport infrastructure
One of the solutions to renovate and develop the urban area is to invest in infrastructure projects. During the half term 2020-2025, Long Khanh city mobilizes all resources to upgrade, embellish and develop urban areas. Many large transportation projects have been gradually invested in and built. Thanks to synchronous investment, the city's main roads and link roads are now widened, spacious, clean and beautiful, creating favorable conditions for local socio-economic development.
The city has completed the project to renovate, upgrade and install pipe systems, cable pits, station foundations, and low voltage distribution cabinet foundations to underground the electricity and telecommunications system along Cach Mang Thang Tam route. The Hung Vuong Street project was started in October 2020 and completed in early 2021. It was renovated and upgraded, redoing sidewalks and undergrounding telecommunications and power grids in 2022. Other routes such as Nguyen Trai, the road through the new urban area... have been completed and put into use for the past 2 years.
In general, the city's urban transportation system has been asphalted over 98%. Inter-commune roads and main roads of communes are 100% concreted and asphalted... Many roads have been upgraded, expanded and newly built to create an increasingly spacious city space. The railway transport system meets the needs of transporting goods on the North - South route.
To continue expanding urban space, it is expected that the Beltway 1 project, Long Khanh City, will be constructed in the second quarter of 2024. Currently, this project has completed the basic design stage, prepared a feasibility report and was approved by the Provincial People's Committee in September 2022. At the same time, Long Khanh City People's Committee also submitted to the Department of Construction for appraisal of construction drawing design documents and estimations. Beltway 1, Long Khanh City has a length of about 4.4km, with a total project investment of more than 900 billion VND. This is a traffic axis that is expected to enhance the urban image of the city in the future.
Improve people's lives in all aspects
Not only in transportation infrastructure, but Long Khanh also invests in many fields to improve people's lives. The power grid system covers remote areas to meet daily and production needs. The rate of households using electricity for daily life currently reaches 99.9%. The city has a collection and treatment system following 100% to the environmental hygiene standards; More than 80% of households in the city practice waste separation.
Along with economic development, in recent years Long Khanh city has paid attention to investing in education and health care. The schools are nicely built and spacious, with no third shift classes.
Long Khanh has promoted administrative reform by improving the efficiency and quality of the one-stop mechanism in handling administrative procedures, creating the most favorable conditions for people and businesses in the process of carrying out administrative procedures at administrative agencies at all levels in the city. This improves the level of satisfaction of people and businesses when contacting to solve problems.
The effectiveness of development policies is shown when the number of wealthy and well-off households increases rapidly, the current average income per capita reaches 145 million VND, an increase of 2.16 times compared to 2014 and 12 million VND higher than with average income per capita in the province.

All major roads or alleyways are asphalted or concreted. The obvious changes in recent years have made people very excited and want the State to continue investing to develop a more modern city.
