Total export turnover in 4 months reached nearly 12 billion USD

​E. Portal - Dong Nai Department of Customs said that, in April, import-export turnover in the province reached over 3.3 billion USD, reached 103% compared to the same period in 2022. In which, export turnover reached over 1.9 billion USD and import turnover reached over 1.4 billion USD. Accumulated import-export turnover in the first 4 months of 2023 reached nearly 12 billion USD, decreased 19% compared to the same period in 2022. Trade balance in the first 4 months of 2023 in the province reached nearly 1.6 billion USD.

According to Dong Nai Department of Customs, the situation of production and business activities of enterprises is still facing many difficulties and challenges; Export, investment, and FDI attraction decrease... is a big pressure on growth management and macro-economy. The main imported items with import turnover with reduced tax, such as: household electrical goods and components, rubber, fiber, textile fibers of all kinds, wood and wooden products... have impacted on the State budget revenue decreased.​
