Dong Nai province participated a conference on linking supply and demand for information technology products and services in the Southeast region

​(News Portal – Dong Nai) - A workshop to connect supply and demand for information technology (IT) products and services to serve the development of digital government, digital economy and society in the Southern region has just been held in Vung Tau City. 

The conference was organized by the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province in collaboration with the Department of Information and Communications Technology Industry (Ministry of Information and Communications). Director of the Department of Information and Communications Ta Quang Truong represented the Dong Nai delegation at the conference.

The workshop presented a draft to build a dynamic region for the IT industry, attracting investment in the production of electrical and electronic products, internet of things (IoT), and artificial intelligence in Dong Nai, Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau provinces.

At the conference, Director of the Department of Information and Communications Ta Quang Truong shared contents related to the potential for developing the IT industry in Dong Nai in particular and regional links in this field in general. In particular, he emphasized shared infrastructure issues for the development of the IT (ICT) industrial ecosystem such as: technology forecasting center - ICT industrial market, laboratories, hardware and software design; human resource training program, attracting experts, developing "incubation" projects in this field; as well as raising issues of energy, environment... when developing the ICT industry. ​​
