Provincial Committee for Public Relation launches activities to mark 76th anniversary of Public Relation Day (October 15th)

On October 13, provincial Committee for Public Relation organizes a meeting to gather clever public-relations officers of the province as to commemorate the 76th anniversary of Public Relation Day (October 15th 1930 – October 15th 2006). Mr Bui Ngoc Thanh, member of Standing Committee of provincial Party Committee and Head of provincial Committee for Public Relation claims that public relation activities have played significant role in the course of socio-economic development in the province.

At the meeting, 8 clever public relation officers at grassroots levels have shared their precious experience in mobilizing the mass. On this occasion, the central Committee for Public Relation has awarded 56 public relation officers who have accomplished achievements in public relation activities; 5 groups and 25 individuals are conferred certificates of merit by provincial People’s Committee and provincial Committee for Public Relation.

To commemorate the 76th anniversary of Public Relation Day, many practical activities will be launched from twelfth to fifteenth of October by provincial Committee for Committee for Public Relation together with Public Relation Committee at grassroots level. Provincial Committee for Public Relation grants 1,000 gifts to poor households with the total amount of 100 million VND donated by enterprises in the province .
