The 7th Micro Enterprises Sub-Group Meeting (MESG) held

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Trung, Head of the Small-and Medium-enterprises Development Bureau under Planning and Investment Ministry highly valued the roles of micro enterprises in creating jobs and poverty alleviation. Particularly, the micro enterprises have promoted services and commerce in the economy of members of APEC.

The meeting also sums up its operation in the year, the implementation of projects funded by APEC and approves new projects. Delegates also discuss on some sub-subjects such as business environment, to create favorable conditions for micro enterprises to access to the resources and to strengthen business opportunities for micro enterprises

The meeting is an activity of the 13th APEC Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Ministerial Meeting to be held on September 28 and 29.
