Dongnai province launches many entertainment activities for children in mid-autumn festival

With the aim of keeping on launching activities on protecting, taking care of and educating children, this mid-autumn festival the provincial Committee for Population, Family and Children will present 1,100 gifts to extremely poor children in the province. The Committee has used the Children Protection Fund to buy 900 gifts and mobilize VMEP Company to sponsor for 200 gifts, each worth 60,000 VND

In the evening of October 3, provincial Youth Union held a mid-autumn festival at the Dongnai Open House and offered 100 gifts to children living in this house and poor children living in neighboring areas. The theme of festival is “Children in the full-moon day”. At the festival, representative of Long Than Golf Company had donated 20 million VND as to invest in the activities of the Open House.

The Committee for Population, Family and Children of Nhon Trach district offered 300 gifts consisting of lantern and moon cake to extremely-poor children of 12 communes in the district with the total amount of over 18 million VND.

In the evening of October 5, the provincial Committee for Population, Family and Children in coordination with provincial Children House held festival themed “peaceful moonlight” for poor children. The festival consisted of many interesting activities such as: display lantern, music performance, folk game …etc. On this occasion, the organizers presented awards of the two contests: contest on studying the Law on protecting, taking care and educating children and contest on making dolls.

Bien Hoa Confectionary Joint Stock Company (Bibica) offered 800 gifts to orphan, poor and disabled children in Bien Hoa City, Nhon Trach district and Trang Bom district.
