The First Phase of Buu Long Tourist and Residential Area Kicked Off

    The project is being implemented on an area of 323 hectares covering Buu Long, Tan Phong, and Quang Vinh Wards of Bien Hoa city and Binh Hoa commune of Vinh Cuu district.

    In the first phase, DOFICO will focus on the following works: connecting Long An Lake to Long Van Lake to create an interconnection between the lakes; upgrading existing entertainment works, building stages for waterfall music and arts performing on the lakes, improving the quality of operating Tran Bien Literature Temple, building a group of services including: Co Dau 2 Restaurant, upgrading Co Dau 1 and Du Long Restaurants; building residential and resettlement area. Total investments for the 2010-2014 period is estimated at almost VND1,200 billion.

    Addressing the ceremony, Mr. Tran Dinh Thanh, Party Central Member, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee required investors and construction organizations to follow the proper process and progress rate of the project to complete it effectively; highly appreciate  innovations in management and implementation during the course of the project; propose solutions to draw human resources of all kinds; train professional tourism workforce; strive to turn Buu Long Tourist Area into an ideal rendezvous for the unique, sacred cultural values, meeting the needs of the people.

    By the way, DOFICO awarded VND1 billion to Bien Hoa city for Nguyen Chi Thanh School construction and VND300 million to Vinh Cuu Social Foundation.
