In addition to the case that Covid-19 patient imported from Japan was isolated and treated at Dong Nai Lung Hospital from January 28, the whole province did not detect any additional cases. All F1, F2 and suspected cases tested negative for SARS-CoV-2.

However, the leaders of the Department of Health recommend that all people continue to strictly comply with the 5K regulations of the Ministry of Health: wearing masks when going out on the street, disinfecting hands, keeping distance when contacting, no gathering people and make honest medical declaration.

Director of the Department of Health, Mr. Phan Huy Anh Vu said that from the 2020 Lunar New Year up to now, the entire health sector has always been in a ready and highly alert position with the Covid-19 epidemic. Propaganda, investment in necessary conditions from human to equipment, machinery, medicine ... is of particular concern. In which, testing is the top priority.

During the Tet holidays, medical officers and staff of units and the health center of districts, Bien Hoa city and Long Khanh city continue to perform their daily tasks of investigating, tracing and determining quickly the cases related to Covid-19 cases, return to localities with Covid-19 epidemic such as Hai Duong, Quang Ninh, Binh Duong ... for timely isolation, zoning and testing. .

Dr. Trinh Duc Duy, Department of Infectious Disease Control, Center for Disease Control, said that after completing his mission at the isolation of People's Security University, An Phuoc commune, Long Thanh district (mission receiving, quarantining, monitoring the health and sending off nearly 300 citizens from Japan to complete the quarantine and concentrating on the locality) on the afternoon of the 30^th of the Lunar New Year, he continued to work with his colleagues on the task of tracing the F1 and F2 subjects in the province. “These are very high-risk cases. We immediately took samples to test, investigated the epidemiology of people who have contact with them to localize and quarantine with the hope of minimizing the infection to the community if these cases are unfortunately infected. Fortunately, test results show that all F1, F2 and suspected cases are negative for SARS-CoV-2 ”- Dr. Duy shared.

Do not be subjective

After the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control sent an express dispatch to the People's Committees of provinces and cities about the prevention of Covid-19, on February 16^th, the provincial People's Committee also sent a document to the Departments, branches, local authorities and press agencies in the province to actively review, sample and monitor human health from Cam Giang district, Hai Duong province.

The Chairman of the provincial People's Committee assigns the Department of Information and Communications, Dong Nai Newspaper, Dong Nai Radio and Television Station, and mass media agencies in the province to make announcements in the residential community, agencies, companies, enterprises and manufacturers ..., request that all people who have gone, come, return from Cam Giang district, Hai Duong province from January 15^th, 2021 up to now to actively contact the commune, ward or local medical station to make medical declarations and is instructed to take samples for SARS-CoV-2 and get health monitoring.

The Department of Health was assigned to assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with departments, branches and localities in receiving information from people, actively reviewing and taking samples and testing for SARS-CoV-2 for people from Cam Giang district, Hai Duong province and members living in the same family thoroughly, monitoring health according to regulations. At the same time, directing preventive medicine facilities to strengthen surveillance and prevention of epidemics in the community, deploy teams of rapid response, urgently trace, investigate and thoroughly handle outbreaks in case of appear suspected cases or cases in the community.

“The Covid-19 epidemic is still developing quite complicatedly. Many new strains of the SARS-CoV-2 virus have emerged with the ability to spread rapidly. Information from the Ministry of Health, until about the second quarter of 2021, Vietnam has only about 5 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine. Therefore, the best way to prevent epidemics is to comply with the recommendations of the health sector and authorities ”- Dr. Phan Huy Anh Vu, Director of the Department of Health emphasized.

On February 17^th, the provincial People's Committee also issued a document allowing students at all levels in the province to leave school until the end of February 2021 to prevent Covid-19 epidemic.
