At the beginning of the season, most gardeners have not yet harvested a large output, and the supply is still limited. However, the price of pepper sold at the garden is currently ranging from 58-59 thousand VND/kg, nearly 30,000 VND/kg lower than the same period last year when pepper prices recovered after a long period of continuous decline.

According to pepper farmers, with the current price, pepper farmers are losing their investment capital because input costs from fertilizer to harvesting are all increasing. A few years ago, the continuous decrease in the price of pepper had a significant impact on the investment and care of farmers for this crop. Accordingly, this year's harvest, pepper productivity is expected to increase slightly compared to last year's crop but has not yet recovered to the level of the previous heyday.
