Dong Nai has 150 VietGAP livestock farms

​According to the report of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the province currently has 150 farms and 7 livestock cooperative groups that are certified to meet VietGAP standards. The total output of meat meeting VietGAP standards to the market is about 165,000 tons of meat per year.

Specifically, VietGAP's total pork production is about 110,000 tons/year and total chicken production is about 55,000 tons/year. The province also maintains 7 disease-free zones at district level. Dong Nai is coordinating with the Department of Animal Health (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) to survey and build 3 disease-free zones to meet the standards of the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) for export.​
