According to the Dong Nai Statistics
Department, the inventory index of the entire processing and manufacturing
industry in February 2022 increased by more than 3.3% compared to January 2022
and increased by nearly 21% over the same period last year. Some industries
with an increase in inventory index compared to the previous month were food
production and processing, which increased by nearly 26%; production of tobacco
products increased by more than 26%; textile industry over 18%; producing
chemicals and chemical products nearly 6%; manufacturing products from
prefabricated metal approximately 12%. The reason for the increase in the
inventory index is that before the Lunar New Year holiday, businesses speed up
production output to meet the market demand after the Tet Holiday with the fluctuation
of workforce.

Garment production at a Company located in Nhon
Trach 3 Industrial Zone (Nhon Trach District)
Enterprises producing industrial products for processing and manufacturing with
a large inventory index said that the amount of inventory is not worrisome,
because factories have to actively produce with large quantities of stock
available in warehouses to guarantee the order for the first export of 2022.
