In the context of economic recovery after the effects of the Covid-19 epidemic and other difficulties, businesses in the province continued to further invest the capital into production.
For example, Nestlé Vietnam Co., Ltd. has been investing an additional US$132 million to double the processing capacity of high-quality coffee lines at Nestlé Tri An factory (Amata Industrial Park). With this investment, Nestlé Vietnam Co., Ltd.'s total foreign investment value has increased to nearly US$730 million, including 3 manufacturing plants in Dong Nai Province.
Recently, Framas Group, Germany's leading spraying compressor manufacturer, has also leased land to expand production in Nhon Trach District. Accordingly, the enterprise leases a ready-built factory area of 20,000 m2 in Nhon Trach 2 Industrial Zone. Framas is an enterprise manufacturing high-quality plastic parts to supply the footwear segment, this expansion is part of the strategy to pursue the growing footwear sector in Vietnam. The new facility allows Framas to respond to the growing needs of its customers, providing them with high quality and effective products in a short time.
Not only foreign-invested enterprises, but many domestic enterprises also expand factories. It is expected that in this 2022, the 5th factory of Global Industrial Packaging Production Joint Stock Company (Glopaco) will be built in Ho Nai Industrial Zone. Mr. Pham Van Chinh, Director of the company, said that the demand for packaging from the market is very high along with the expansion of production and export of the business community. The unit's annual sales of all kinds of packaging always grow high, so the new factory will contribute to dominate the market and build a stronger and stronger brand of packaging production of Dong Nai.
Dong Nai continues to be an investment attraction destination
Dong Nai has established 32 Industrial Zones, of which 31 are operating, Long Thanh Hi-tech Industrial Zone is in the process of compensation for site clearance and carrying out land procedures for construction of infrastructure. Besides, there are many Industrial Zone undergoing expansion such as: Industrial Zones of Amata, Giang Dien, Ho Nai, Song May, Ong Keo, Dinh Quan, etc. The province has also been approved to open more industrial parks.
Enterprises said invest in Industrial Zones of Dong Nai very convenient because the province is located in the traffic hub area of the Southern Key Economic Zone, transporting goods by road, waterway, and railway and by air in the future is very convenient. Goods produced in Dong Nai can be transported to other localities in the country and exported, shortening transportation time and costs.
As an enterprise operating in Dong Nai for many years, Mr. Binu Jacob, General Director of Nestlé Vietnam highly appreciated the epidemic prevention activities of the province as well as the whole country, at the same time, he believed in the prospects of the economic recovery. Nestlé's continued investment in capacity expansion proves that the attractiveness of the market and the local production environment is very high and has become one of the main production sites of enterprises.
