In the context of the trend of production shifting and international capital flows, localities in the Southeast region are trying to catch the investment wave.
For enterprises, the initiative to improve production capacity is an opportunity to participate more deeply in international linkage chains and reach out to the world.

The focus of foreign capital attraction
In 2022, despite difficulties, foreign investment capital (FDI) still flows strongly into the Southeast region. The leading position in the country belongs to Ho Chi Minh City with more than 3.9 billion USD. The remaining provinces such as Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Tay Ninh and Binh Phuoc have made great efforts in the context that the economy has not yet fully recovered.
Welcoming the investment wave, over the years, localities in the region have made efforts to improve their infrastructure, especially to meet the land rental needs of large investors. Binh Duong orients to build science and technology industrial parks, mechanisms to encourage innovation through the project "Smart city". Besides, the province also continues to promote investment promotion, in which priority is given to attracting projects with high science and technology content, which helps to attract many large domestic and foreign projects.
With Dong Nai, the current big advantage to maintain the position of a magnet to attract investment is the large infrastructure projects that have been built. Projects such as airports, highways and seaports with large capital will be the driving force for the province's development in the coming years. As for creating a land fund ready for investors, Dong Nai is currently making efforts to carry out legal procedures and soon add IPs according to the approval of the Prime Minister. At that time, Dong Nai will have more than 7,000 hectares of industrial land to call for investment. Similarly, Ba Ria - Vung Tau has an additional land fund of more than 8,000 hectares; City. Ho Chi Minh City will also add a new industrial park.
Resonating with the expansion of infrastructure, localities in the region also continue to improve the first environment, administrative reform with the motto of accompanying businesses. In addition, it is to improve the quality of inter-regional human resources, serving the long-term development needs.
Actively participate in the supply chain
With large international corporations continuing to pour capital, it has also created favorable conditions for domestic enterprises to break into the supply chain of supporting industry products. Truong Hai is a large industrial manufacturing group of the country, originating from Dong Nai and currently building the largest auto industry and economic zone in the country in Quang Nam province. Currently, this unit is expanding the fields of supporting industry and the Southeast region will be the focus of investment of enterprises. The goal is to link domestic supporting industry enterprises together, and at the same time create opportunities for domestic partners to participate more deeply in Thaco's production segment as well as international linkage chains.
Not only corporations but also smaller units are making efforts to upgrade themselves. Mr. Le Duc Huynh, owner of Huynh Duc Trading Service Production Company Limited (Bien Hoa City) said that it has been 30 years of building and developing the brand. This enterprise has factories in Dong Nai and Da Nang. To upgrade himself, Huynh Duc invested in building a new factory in Amata Industrial Park. The company's precision mechanical products are currently for the supporting industry in Vietnam, along with a number of partners from other advanced countries such as Australia, Japan and the US.
The current issue that the business community wants is that the state provides common directions and acts as a bridge for cooperation. In terms of technology and human resources, over time, enterprises can supplement themselves, but they desperately need the role of a bridge of the State through cooperation programs with FDI partners who need to localize their raw materials, from which domestic enterprises have the motivation to develop their production capacity.
