Announcing the results of the administrative reform.

​On May 21, Provincial People Committee held a ceremony to announce the results of the administrative reform evaluation in 2013 of the agencies and units in the province. 




Accordingly, to the 20 departments and agencies of the province, there are 9 units classified as good, including: Office of the Provincial People's Committee, the Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority and provincial departments: Trade and Industry, Foreign Affairs, Home Affairs, Finance, Construction, Agriculture - Rural Development, Planning - Investment. 10 units graded as fairly good, including: Provincial Inspector, Ethnic Affairs and other departments: Transport, Education and Training, Information – Communication, Science - Technology, Natural Resources - Environmental, Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, Health, Justice. The only Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism graded average, no units classified as weak.


To the district-level units, 3 units classified as good: Nhon Trach, Xuan Loc, Trang Bom. 6 units graded as fairly good: Bien Hoa, Long Khanh town and the districts of Long Thanh, Thong Nhat, Dinh Quan, Cam My. 2 units graded as average: Vinh Cuu, Tan Phu. To communal units with 49/171 communes reach excellent, 47 communes reach good, 68 communes is fairly good, 7 communes as average.


According to the Department of Home Affairs, the administrative reform of the administrative 3 level are shown on seven indicators, including: Steering, construction and promulgation of legal documents, administrative reform, reform of organizational structure, improve the quality of staff - civil servants – officials, public finance reform and modernization of the public administration. The purpose of the determination of the administrative reform index as a tool to evaluate and classify the results of administrative reform tasks of the departments, agencies, District People’s Committee, Commune People’s Committee.  Thereby it will help the Provincial People’s Committee advisory bodies to strengthen the guidance, the administrative reform leadership in the province. District People’s Committee strengthen the direction and leadership of administrative reform in the district and commune level


Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Tran Van Vinh said, this is the first time the province announced the evaluation results of the administrative reform. In 7 indexes of administrative reform, 3 indexes have units achieve low, need to focus in better performance in the future; That is: the executive direction, development and promulgation of legal documents, improving the quality of staff - civil servants - officials. During the evaluation process, should pay attention to the departments, local units which have much workload for fairer assessment.
