According to Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority, so far in the province, there are 5 Industrial Zones that have not been established in phase 2, namely Dinh Quan, Long Duc, Amata, Tan Phu and Xuan Loc Industrial Zones.

The total area of phase 2 of the Industrial Zones that have not yet been established is about 639 ha. In which, Dinh Quan Industrial Zone (Dinh Quan District) phase 2 is 107 hectares, Long Duc Industrial Zone (Long Thanh District) phase 2 is nearly 300 hectares, Amata Industrial Zone (Bien Hoa City) is more than 27 hectares, Tan Phu Industrial Zone is 76 hectares and Xuan Loc Industrial Zone 200 ha. The reason why infrastructure companies in these Industrial Zones are slow to expand the second phase is due to problems with documentation, compensation and site clearance.
The area of land that needs to be recovered to expand Industrial Zones is mostly used by people to live and do business. In order to expand the above Industrial Zones, it is necessary to recover the land of households, individuals and organizations. Currently, the compensation land price for the above areas is very high, in which many households have been cleared and have to be resettled.
