According to the Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority, in 2021, foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises located in Industrial Zones in the province have put more than US$10.75 billion in investment in production and doing business to make goods for the domestic market and for export. Thus, the capital invested in production and business of FDI enterprises in 2021, increased by about US$200 million compared to the previous year. During the year, despite being heavily affected by the epidemic, the revenue of FDI enterprises still reached nearly US$22.4 billion.
In addition, in 2021, FDI enterprises also invest nearly US$730 million for basic construction such as building factories, installing more machines to expand production. There are dozens of projects that have been completed and put into production, helping to increase revenue and export turnover of FDI enterprises.
