On December 16, Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai welcomed Mr. Jean Anes, the Indonesian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh city visited and worked in Dong Nai.
According to Mr. Jean Anes, the Indonesian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh city, Dong Nai is quite attractive to investors and has many advantages for foreign businesses. So, in the coming time, the Indonesian Consulate will be a bridge to introduce Indonesia businesses to invest in Vietnam to come to Dong Nai. Mr. Jean Anes expressed, Dong Nai businesses want to invest into Indonesia if needed support for information and procedures can also contact the Consulate of Indonesia in Ho Chi Minh City.
Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai said, Dong Nai is one of the top four provinces of Vietnam in attracting investors with more than 21 thousand enterprises. Of these, 1,452 foreign investment projects licensed with total registered capital of 25.8 billion USD. In 2014, estimated the total newly registered capital and FDI capital projects is 1.6 billion USD, up 23% compared to 2013.
In Dong Nai, there are two projects of Indonesian businesses i: U.I.C. Viet Nam Co., Ltd. specializes in the manufacture of detergents and Impack Vietnam Co., Ltd. producing plastic sheet with a total investment of more than 12 million USD.
