Receiving the delegation, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Phi said that Dong Nai is the province with the most developed livestock in the country. The province's livestock accounts for nearly 62% of the agricultural production value with two main livestock types: pigs and chickens. Currently, Dong Nai's pig herd has more than 2.1 million heads, farming accounts for more than 90% of the total herd with 1,332 farms. Pigs of FDI enterprises are about 968,000 heads, domestic enterprises are about 76.5 thousand heads, the rest are pigs of households. The province's chicken herd has nearly 23.2 million heads, farm raising accounts for about 91% of the total number of farms is 360. Livestock production continues to develop in the direction of large-scale farms associated with the application of scientific and technological advances to production to form a closed chain. The province's objective is to produce livestock, cultivate crops associated with processing, consumption and export. In the coming time, Dong Nai hopes that De Heus Group will cooperate with Dong Nai Livestock Association and localities to support the transfer of science and technology to farms, forming a closed chain of Feed, Farm, Food.

After the working trip, the group will consider looking for opportunities to associate and expand investment in the province.
