Provincial Sports Games: three ethnic minority sports kicked off

On April 22 morning, three ethnic minority sports, including stick pushing, tug of war and arbalest shooting that are parts of the competition program of the 6th Provincial Sports Games 2010, officially started at two places of Binh Da Ward (Bien Hoa City) and the Sports Hall (the Provincial Sports Center).

Male athletes were competing in stick pushing event.

     The tournament consisted of 12 units of districts, Long Khanh Town, Bien Hoa City and Dong Nai Rubber Corporation. In particular, there were 40 players for arbalest shooting, 50 for stick pushing and 180 for tug of war (including 11 male teams and 8 female ones). This is one of activities to honor Hung Kings’ death anniversary held by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The competition will end in the evening of the same day.
