Dau Giay - Phan Thiet Highway will be launched in the third quarter of 2015

According to the Ministry of Transport, Deputy Minister Nguyen Ngoc Dong has worked with delegation of World Bank (WB) and Bitexco (first investors) on construction projects Dau Giay - Phan Thiet highway, the expected total length of about 100km.



Recently, the construction project Dau Giay - Phan Thiet highway (in the form of Public-Private Partnership - PPP) has made significant progress. Currently, Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay highway are being rushing construction, scheduled for completion in mid 2015. Therefore, the project Dau Giay - Phan Thiet highway should strive to start in about the third quarter of 2015, to ensure compliance with the commitment to international investors.


Deputy Nguyen Ngoc Dong said the Ministry of Transport has assigned Project Manager 1 urgently complete the prequalification evaluation to choose the 2nd investor for coordinating with Bitexco to test, revise the routes in Dong Nai territory on the basis of data, survey the new clearance design. The Ministry also requested Bitexco to steer the advisory of document for feasibility study adjustment, update the clearance survey data to design the collector road in order to reduce the changes and arising afterward.
