Dofico grassroots Youth Union (DGYU) conducted a series of activities to mark the 63rd anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 – July 27, 2010).

The “Gratitude is the Sign of Noble Souls” campaign attracted a large number of Youth Union members and youths.

DGYU visited and offered gifts Martyrs’ Parents’ Carehouse in Hiep Hoa commune, Bien Hoa city.

DGYU and Dong Nai People’s Committee’s Secretariat cooperated closely in making a visit to and offering gifts to martyr Pham Thi Bi’s mother aged 83 in Hiep Hoa commune, Bien Hoa city and martyr Nguyen Thi Den’s mother aged 93 in Long Phuoc commune, Long Thanh district.

DGYU contributed to preparing 3,000 flowers and 2,000 candles to be lit at the candle lighting ceremony at the National Martyrs Cemetery located on Hill 82 in Thanh Tay commune, Tan Bien district, Tay Ninh province.

DGYU also paid a visit to Dong Nai Martyrs Cemetery and attended the candle lighting there and then went on its visit to Long Thanh Martyrs Cemetery.

VND10 mil (US$523.83) spent on all above activities was taken from the Youth Union’s budget and raised from Youth Union members and youths as well.
