Religious Delegations Pay a Visit to and Extend Tet Holidays Wishes to Provincial Leadership: * A Get-together for Dignitaries and Priests

On the occasion of Lunar New Year 2011 (The Year of Cat), on the morning of January 25, Board of Directors of Dong Nai Buddhist Association’s delegation led by Head of Board of Directors Venerable Thich Minh Chanh; Xuan Loc Church and Dong Nai Catholic Solidarity Commission’s delegation led by Assistant Bishop Vu Dinh Hieu; Dong Nai Southern Vietnam Protestant Church’s delegation led by Pastor Nguyen Ton; and Tay Ninh Caodaism  Delegation led by Chief of Tay Ninh Caodaism Representative Committee and Professor Ngoc Cung Thanh paid a visit to and extended Tet holidays wishes to Dong Nai Party Committee, People’s Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee.

Member of the Standing Committee at Dong Nai Party Committee and Head of the Commission for People Mobilization Work at Dong Nai Party Committee Bui Ngoc Thanh, Member of the Standing Committee at Dong Nai Party Committee and Head of the Inspection Committee at Dong Nai Party Committee Tran Van Tu presided over the reception of delegations.

The reception was attended by Chairwoman of Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Kim Lien, Vice Chairwoman of Dong Nai People’s Committee Huynh Thi Nga, and the leadership from departments and sectors in the province.

Delegations offer flowers to Dong Nai leadership

On behalf of the provincial leaders, comrades Bui Ngoc Thanh and Tran Van Tu expressed their thanks for the religion delegations’ love towards provincial leadership.

Provincial leadership wished all religious followers in Dong Nai a joyful, cosy and happy Lunar New Year (The Year of Cat).

Provincial leadership highly appreciated Dong Nai dignitaries and followers’ contributions to the province’s socio-economic development and to the preservation of political security, social safety and order in the province.

Provincial leadership expressed desire that religions keep on following the Party and the government’s guidelines, policies and law, fostering national unity, and contributing to Dong Nai’s stability and development.

The same day, Dong Nai Party Committee, People's Council, and Fatherland Front Committee held a get-together for representative dignitaries and priests for sixteen law-abiding religious organizations in the province.

At the get-together, Deputy Secretary of the Standing Committee at Dong Nai Party Committee Le Hong Phuong stated that Dong Nai’s past year achievements in process of building and strengthening the national unity bloc were thanks to dignitaries and followers’ substantial contributions.

Phuong added that complying with church regulations, living and working according to the “Good Life, Good Religion” motto to make contributions to Dong Nai’s construction and development process and make it a rich and beautiful province are required.

Phuong proposed that Dong Nai’s dignitaries and followers keep on promoting their roles in the national unity bloc and responding to the Party and the government’s policies and guidelines.

Phuong requested that dignitaries and followers participate in hunger elimination and poverty reduction programs, and socio-economic development programs to make contributions to successfully accomplishing objectives and tasks in 2011 and creating a premise for the successful implementation of the resolutions by the 9th Dong Nai Party Congress and by the 11th National Party Congress.

Giving their opinions at the get-together, dignitaries stated their belief in the Party’s leadership and highly appreciated Dong Nai’s achievements in various areas.

Dignitaries suggested that levels of authorities and sectors strengthen the education on revolutionary tradition and cultural values to the young generation.
