To settle the high demand for entertainment of people in the province and from other provinces at weekends and on holidays, many tourist places have been constructed in the province such as Buu Long tourist place, Giang Dien waterfall, yellow scorpion and Vuon Xoai. Being officially upgraded into an ecotourism place in April 2006, Vuon Xoai at first just was a husbandry farm of Ms Duong Thi Nha. But with a passion for tourism, she has turned her farm into a large ecotourism place in two years. At the beginning, she encountered a lot of obstacles to construct this place due to lacking capital and experience because she had no experience in doing tourism business and it was her “left hand” job. With the passion for this job and determination, she has made her farm become an ideal place for tourism as today.

To create distinctive styles for this place to attract tourists, Vuon Xoai uniquely combines between entertainment and sport activities. Being here, tourists will not only have chances to wallow in fresh and natural environment of Bat Bo bamboo garden, orchid garden, mango garden and fishpond but can also play some kinds of sports such as swimming, tennis, grass-skiing, ostrich riding and bicycle riding; visiting bear cage, crocodile swamp, restaurant and hotel. With an entrance ticket of 20.000 VND per an adult and 15.000 per child (not including game fees), tourist can freely do sightseeing within the place. Presently, there are approximately 1000 ostriches in the Vuon Xoai (including 10 tamed ostriches used for riding) and 40 bears. In addition, it also has a zone to meet drinking and eating demand of tourists. It serves special foods such as meat of wild boar, ostrich and crocodile. All these animals are raised in near by farm.
Presently, the number of tourists coming here on holidays is about 6 to 7 thousand. However, most of them are from Ho Chi Minh City, Vung Tau province, Binh Duong province and neighboring provinces and the number of people from Dongnai province comse here is very small. Most of the delegations visit Vuon Xoai on one-day tour. On weekdays, Vuon Xoai mainly receives students who come here for camping. Mrs Lo Thi Hien, sales manager of Vuon xoai, unveiled that “because the tourist place is on construction and being upgraded so we reduce the advertisement on multimedia. Currently, Vuon Xoai is being upgraded in order to provide better services.
We are informed that Vuon Xoai will not only focus on providing services. Its managing board plans to build a mini supermarket to sell meat of animals raised in the farm near the tourism place and to construct a sanatorium for elder people. These two buildings are scheduled to open in 2010
