In 2008, number of markets in Bien Hoa city decreased to 26

For the time being, the city has 36 markets, including 3 markets of type 1, 8 of type 2, 25 of type 3. According to the planning, by 2010, 3 markets of type 3 will be eliminated, decreasing the total number of city’s markets to 26.   

Up to now, moved markets included: Hoa An temporary market moved to Hoa An market, Sat night market moved to Tan Bien and Tan Hiep moved to the temporary one. 4 markets of type 3 moved were Quarter 4 market in Tan Bien ward, Bien Hoa station market, Doc Soi market in Trung Dung ward, and Binh Hoa market in Hoa An commune.
