Import-export turnover of the first nine months 2009 estimated at US$9,515 million.

According to information sources of Dong Nai Department of Industry and Trade, the Import-export turnover of the first nine months 2009 is estimated at more than US$9,515 million, a decrease of 16.87% against the same period last year.

Export constitutes a high density that is over 60% of consumption turnover of Dong Nai’s whole industry. Due to economic crisis, needs of selling some industrial products of teh local enterprises in teh United States and European countries have decreased by 30%-40%; therefore, markets have been narrowed, resulting in difficulties in producting and selling products.

So, export turnover of Dong Nai in the first nine months 2009 has decreased dramatically. It is estimated at US$4,498 million, a decrease of 5.9% against the same period last year, fulfilling 62% of the set plan in 2009. The import turnover in the first nine months is estimated at US$4,654.66 million, a decrease of 25.3% against the same period last year, fufilling 56.6% of the set target in 2009.

The objective for the last three months is that import-export turnover will reach US$5,824 million and for the whole year will be US$14,977 million, equal to 96.7% of the year plan.
