Exports of domestic-invested enterprises increased sharply

According to Dong Nai Statistics Department, the export turnover of non-state economic enterprises in the province in May 2022 reached nearly US$532 million, up more than 38% compared to May 2021.

If accumulating the first 5 months of 2022, the export turnover of the non-state economy is nearly US$2.5 billion, increasing nearly 40% compared to the same period last year. In the export structure of Dong Nai, the non-state economy accounts for about 23%, the state economy accounts for more than 2%, the foreign direct investment economy accounts for nearly 75%. Since the beginning of the year, non-state enterprises have had the highest export growth compared to the state economy and the foreign direct investment economy. The most exported non-state economic sectors are textiles, footwear, wood products, machinery components, equipment and spare parts, coffee, and pepper.

Also in the 5 months of 2022, the non-state economy imported more than US$1.7 billion, the trade balance tilted towards Dong Nai with a trade surplus of about US$770 million.
