Bien Hoa City has 2 additional subdivisions approved for planning.

 Specifically, according to the approved plan of subdivision A1 and part of subdivision C2, including Long Binh Tan Ward and part of An Binh Ward, with a total area of ​​more than 1.5 thousand hectares. In which, Long Binh Tan Ward has an area of ​​more than 1.1 thousand ha and a part of An Binh Ward has an area of ​​about 391 ha. Population size is from 50 to 60 thousand people.

Subdivision A1 and a part of subdivision C2 are the southern component of the historic central urban area of ​​Bien Hoa City and a part of the northwest component of the urban area west of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway. This is a subdivision that plays an important role in realizing the goals of security and defense (Long Binh General Warehouse), health care (ShingMark General Hospital), education (Sonadezi College), Industrial Zone development (Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Zone), port services (Dong Nai Port), finance-trade, housing, space and environment, etc.

Meanwhile, subdivision A9 includes Tan Van, Buu Hoa and Hoa An wards with an area of ​​more than 1,000 hectares. Population is from 85 to 90,000 people. Subdivision A9 is the southern component subdivision of the historic central urban area of ​​Bien Hoa City. This is a subdivision that plays an important role in realizing the goals of tourism development (the area of ​​quarries after mining), logistics services (Bonded warehouses and Tan Van logistics services), housing, space, environmental landscape.
