The set of advanced new countryside criteria includes 19 criteria, 76 targets, an increase of 22 targets compared to the previous period; increase 1 target compared to the Central. The set of model new countryside criteria must meet some additional regulations such as: having at least one smart hamlet model; the percentage of households that classify domestic solid waste at source reaches 90% or more; the percentage of households using clean water according to regulations reaches 90% or more, from the centralized water supply system from 70% or more...
Delegates contributed to the New Countryside Criteria Sets for the 2021-2025 period at the workshop.
The comments and discussions were mainly about difficulties in implementing criteria such as: classifying waste at source; rate of water use from centralized water supply system; some remote communes find it difficult to achieve per capita income in newly raised rural communes, modeled according to new criteria... It is suggested that Dong Nai province should also divide into purely agricultural areas, mountainous and urban areas to make appropriate criteria. In addition, localities expect relevant departments and branches to implement guidance on the implementation of specific and timely criteria; at the same time, it is necessary to issue supporting policies for criteria that are difficult to implement.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Phi asked the drafting agency of the new provincial rural criteria sets for the period 2021-2025 to update the comments and soon complete the draft as well as the processes. procedures for timely issuance of the above sets of criteria in November. Some of the criteria Dong Nai sets higher targets than the Central Government and includes in resolutions for implementation are criteria associated with social welfare, with the goal of improving people's quality of life, should focus on implementing. After the issuance of new sets of criteria, from the province to the locality, it is necessary to focus on widely propagating for the people to know and actively support. Departments and sectors carefully guide the localities to proactively, focus on implementing to meet the required criteria, and at the same time advise and propose policies and support mechanisms for difficult criteria.
