According to Dong Nai Department of Statistics, in February 2018, Dong Nai's trade surplus was estimated to exceed USD 330 million. More particularly, import turnover is over $ 1 billion, export turnover is nearly $ 1.34 billion. Therefore, for the first two months of this year, Dong Nai’ excess of export over import reached more than 620 million USD. The province's exports for the first two months increased by 25.5% over the same period last year.
Export items that have increased sharply in both quantity and value include: footwear, garment, wood products, textile fibers, steel products, computers, electronic products and components. The export turnover of such items increased from 25-45% over the same period last year. Dong Nai's export market is continuing to expand, and businesses focus on expanding production to fulfill large orders.
