“Evening Star” Badminton Tour 2005

This morning May 1st, Evening Start badminton club in co-ordinate with provincial department of Sport and Gymnastics to organize “Evening Star” badminton tour 2005 at the provincial sporting event hall.

This is to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the south liberation and national unification, labour day and foundation of provincial badminton association. Participating in the tour are 160 players of  9 club in the province such as Evening star, office of provincial party committee, Vinh Cuu, Dau Giay, Long Khanh, Long Thanh, Tan Phu and Thuy An.

It is divided into three group of age: under 34, from 35 to 44 and over 45 and there are there contents men’s single, women’s single and mixed double for each group.

The tour is ended in the evening of the same day with the following results

  • In the age group of under 34:

 Men’s doubles champion: Tran Nhat Duc – Tran Phuong Bac (Evening star Club)

 Women’s doubles champion: Nguyen Thi Tuyet Hong – Doan Thi Thuy Trinh (Evening star Club)

 Mixed doubles champion: Dam Thuan Tu – Bui Thi Bach Ngoc (Vinh Cuu district)

  •  In the age group from 35 to 44

Men’s doubles champion: Phan Van Duc – Pham Nghia Thuong (Long Khanh Town Club)

Women’s doubles champion: Nguyen Thi Dung – Tran Thanh Hong (Thuy An Club)

Mixed doubles champion: Luu Huu Luong – Nguyen Thi Tinh (office of provincial party committee)

 

  • In the age group of over 45

 

Men’s doubles champion: Nguyen Xuan Nghiem – Nguyen Hien (Vinh Cuu district Club)

Women’s doubles champion: Huynh Thi Thanh – Ton Nu Thi Sung (Dau Giay district Club)

Mixed doubles champion: Vu Manh Duc – Le Thi Tuyet Van (Long Khanh Town Club)

 At the award ceremony, Evening star Club had warded for best young players who had good results in 2004
